Online/Offsite EMR Data Backup Service
In response to the HIPAA
rules regarding EMR backups and disaster recovery that our
customers are required to meet, we are now offering an
automated online backup service. This service will
automatically backup your EMR and PM database backup file (and any other
selected files) to our location every night. Used in
conjunction with your regular, local backups, this offers a
'insurance policy' to assure data recovery in case of a
disaster.
The backup service is not
based on the number of providers as in our software
subscription. This is strictly based on the volume of data
backed up. The following schedule lists out the
associated charges with the service:

So as an
example, if you needed 3 Gigabytes of storage, your monthly
fee would be $40 + $15 + $15 = $70. Most of our users
would not need more than the basic 1 GB starter account. After a
year or two, as your data volume grows, this will probably
change.
